Ladders4action is frequently approached to advise upon the inclusivity and ethics of research proposals or grants. In response to this demand, Ladders4Action created a methodology and proposal review service.

The cost includes a review, written feedback and 2-3 meetings to discuss the approach.

Approximately £1,200, depending upon the size of the proposal. Subsidised and pro-bono work may be possible depending upon availability and need.

Dr Addy Adelaine offers a confidential advice and guidance service.

This service can be utilised to discuss any issue you would like around the topic of inclusion, accountability, or research methodology.

Dr Adelaine is available upon request, but we will try and match your needs with the most appropriate staff member. Limited slots are available so early and repeat booking is advised. 

£30 *suggested amount Per hour – limited free pro bono slots available upon request    Individuals working for Community-Based Organisations, social enterprises or small charities (turnover under £500,000 GBP). Self-funded individuals who an organisation is not supporting (*please pay more if you can or ask for free pro bono session if you cannot afford any payment. No proof required please pay what you can).
£60 per hour Individuals who are supported by an academic institutions, research organisations, funding organisations, large charities, social enterprises.
£120 per hour *suggested amountBusiness, Corporation, Private Company, UK Government Body. Those earning more than £100,000K per annum Large companies and high-income individuals are invited to increase this rate as a donation to support subsidised / pro-bono advice slots
